Tinubu’a aide empowers constituents with N1.8m

 *Opens constituency office in Lagos

Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs Khadijat Omotayo has empowered nine persons in her constituency with N1.8 million. Each beneficiary got N200,000.

The empowerment was given at the opening of her constituency office in the Surulere area of Lagos State.

“I will work tirelessly to attract investments, create jobs and support local businesses to ultimately enhance the quality of life is our communities”, she promised.

Omotayo described the move as part of her commitment to serve communities and ensuring governance at the grassroots.

She restated her devotion to bridging the gap between communities and the Federal Government, and so promised good representation and transparency in delivering her responsibility to her constituents.

“I’m dedicated to bridging the gap between communities and the Federal Government. This office will serve to ensure true constructive dialogues on issues that affect the people the most.

“My commitment to you is good representation. My office will provide a platform for you to share your concerns, ideas and feedback, ensuring that your voices are represented at the highest level of power.”

While highlighting her efforts in empowering the less privileged, needy, artisans, market women and communities, Omotayo assured the people in creating jobs, and support for local businesses.

State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Cornelius Ojelabi, represented by Vice Chairman Moshood Mayegun, hailed Omotayo for ‘yet another milestone in the existence of our great party APC’.

Mayegun praised Omotayo for her efforts, and urged her to do more in serving the people.

He said: “Surulere is indeed a great local government which breeds great personalities. Omotayo has done well and will continue to do more. We pray God almighty to be with you through your sojourn as the president’s aide.”

Member representing Surulere I in the House of Representatives, Fuad Laguda, hailed Omotayo for the bold step. The projects, he noted, will make life easier in terms of infrastructure, and help ease out things for the people.
