LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT REFUNDS 145 FORMER SUBSCRIBERS OF EGAN HOUSING ESTATE
The Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) has announced its one-day stakeholder symposium to hold on Thursday, September 12.
Tagged ‘Lagos: Bridging Knowledge and Unraveling History’, the symposium will hold at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton, Ikeja, at 9am.
According to the Director General of LASRAB, Ms Toyin Ogunlana, the symposium will examine and analyse colonial documents and their sources, and conduct a thorough investigation of the events that authenticate the emergence of the city called Lagos.
“Attendees will benefit from the resource of researchers, historians, community leaders, stakeholders, students, and the public as they dissect some of the historical background, colonial influences, and socio-political evolution of Lagos,” she added.
Ms. Ogunlana urged residents to attend the event virtually as participants would experience wholesome dividends of the programme.
