Business mogul Olashile Muraina installed as ‘Agbakin Bashorun’

 Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, has installed business guru, Chief Alexandra Olashile Muraina, and his wife Esther Taiwo Murina, as the Agbakin Bashorun andYeye Agbakin Bashorun of Yoruba land.

The one-week event started with traditional libation, then to seclusion at the Oranmiyan groove, where new chief was intimated the rules that bind his office, before he was handed the defense sword as symbol of his office.

Chief Muraina thanked Ooni Ogunwusi for the honour and promised to live up to expectations.

He said: “I am happy with the warm reception here today as I am honoured with the title of Agbakin Bashorun of Yoruba land, bestowed on me by Oba Ogunwusi. It shows that the Yoruba place high value‎ on their customs and traditions.‎

“I assure his Imperial Majesty that he will not regret giving me this title, and I promise to use everything within my power, like Bashorun Ogunmola, to defend Yoruba land. I appreciate everyone who created time to attend my installation despite their busy schedule.”
