LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT REFUNDS 145 FORMER SUBSCRIBERS OF EGAN HOUSING ESTATE
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State Cornelius Ojelabi has admonished Muslims to keep promises and love their neighbours.
In his goodwill message to mark Eid, Ojelabi advised Muslims to always stand firm in defense of their beliefs and promises, noting this stood Prophet Ibrahim out as a righteous man.
Ojelabi, who feted Muslim leaders in Lagos, advised them to always live peacefully with their fellow citizens so love and respect can triumph in the country.
He said: “Your sacrifice should always be charity to the poor, good deeds and submission to Allah. It is my prayer that Allah will accept your Ibadah.
“I use this moment to enjoin you to continue to be your brother’s keeper and promote unity always.
The party chair admonished them to continue to live in harmony in fulfillment of Allah’s teachings and lessons of the Holy Prophet Muhammed. He appealed to them to remember the less privileged and the poor, and allow the fear of Allah to guide them in all their conducts.
“I encourage you to devote more time to pray for Lagos, the country and our leaders at all levels, that God should lead them right in their service to the people.”
