RTEAN hails Lasbat-Meranda as first female Speaker of Lagos Assembly

Lagos State Chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) Alhaji Samsondeen Ajala has described the emergence of Mrs. Mojisola Lasbat-Meranda as first female Speaker of the House of Assembly as a ‘testament to the progressive nature of politics played in Lagos’.

Ajala, in a congratulatory message on behalf of RTEAN, reiterated the association’s commitment to the THEMES plus agenda of the government towards ensuring a better and greater transportation system in Lagos.

He also urged all political office holders to always put the interest of the people above selfish gains.

“The Association wishes Madam Speaker, Mrs. Mojisola Lasibat-Meranda a successful term in office,” he added.
