35-year-old arrested for defiling teenage daughter

A 35-year-old man in Adamawa State, Muhammad Auwal, has been arrested for allegedly defiling his 14-year-old daughter.

A statement by the police spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, said Auwal would be duly prosecuted after investigation.

The statement reads: “The Adamawa State Police Command, on September 11, arrested 35-year-old Muhammad Auwal for sexually assaulting his 14-year-old biological daughter.

“The suspect has since confessed to the crime and will be charged to court.”
