LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT REFUNDS 145 FORMER SUBSCRIBERS OF EGAN HOUSING ESTATE
Governor Sanwo-Olu also swore in former Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Sam Egube, as his Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS).
Sanwo-Olu urged the newly appointed DCoS not to rest on his oars and work in line with his administration’s goals.
He said: “Congratulations, your hard work got you here; I believe you will give your best as you have always done.
“Madam, thank you for supporting him, we thank you and we believe with your support he will succeed. I pray we don’t experience any untimely death again.”
Egube’s appointment follows the death of the former DCOS, Gboyega Soyannwo, who died on May 15, after a brief illness. He was 55.
Egube thanked the governor for finding him worthy of appointment.
“I assure our governor and my colleagues in the cabinet that I will work as a team mate towards actualising our goals. Thank you all.”
